This site was installed in the summer of 2012. It is located near the massive thaw slump in the Selawik NWR. It is set back from the head-wall of the thaw slump in a tussock meadow area. We also have distributed sites with a few temperature measurements down to 1.5m in an Upland Alder Willow area and a Upland White Spruce area nearby.
