Teshekpuk Lake Observatory

Description

The TSP site was installed at the Teshekpuk Lake Observatory (TLO) in July 2011. The installation consists of eight thermistors that measure hourly ground temperature to a depth of 3 m. Measuring ground thermal regimes provides the TLO with useful information regarding the state of the permafrost surrounding the largest lake in Arctic Alaska.

This site is maintained by Benjamin Jones for more information you can visit his project page.

Measurements

  • Air Temperature and Dew Point
