Reginald Muskett Attends GOSAT Principal Investigator Meeting in Kyoto, Japan

On January 26 through 29, Reginald Muskett, Postdoctoral Fellow of the Geophysical Institute and Permafrost Laboratory attended the International Workshop for Greenhouse Gas Measurements from Space -6 and the Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite (GOSAT) Principal Investigator Meeting in Kyoto, Japan. The workshop and meeting were held consecutively in the International Conference Center, site of the 1997 UN Kyoto Protocol meetings. Dr. Muskett presented a poster of his GOSAT project and engaged in technical discussions with other GOSAT scientists from Asia, Europe and North America. He was interviewed by Japan Broadcasting Corporation NHK and spoke about his research on the changes of permafrost across the northern hemisphere using satellite geodesy and remote sensing.
